There is a lot to see in the World of Leica in the Leitz Park Wetzlar. You should plan a good two hours for a visit to the interactive Ernst Leitz Museum and exhibition. You can also spend a good two hours in the headquarters with a view of production and various exhibitions. With a stop at Café Leitz and a walk through the Leitz Park Forest, you can also spend half a day with us.

All tours through the Leitz-Park and the World of Leica are generally wheelchair accessible. However, due to daily restrictions, we kindly ask for information at the time of reservation, whether you are an individual or a group, if you, for example, are using a wheelchair.

Not wheelchair accessible are the tour from the Leitz-Park to the old town and the nature trail.

Small bags and backpacks can be taken along without any issues. There are no restrictions regarding this for the tour from the Leitz-Park to the old town.

You can purchase tickets for the museum on-site and without reservation. If you wish to join a tour spontaneously, you can also buy a ticket on-site. However, this is only possible if there are still available seats.

The duration of the tours varies. The tour through the World of Leica lasts approximately 60 minutes, and a nature trail tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.

As the tour from the Leitz-Park to the old town is self-guided, the duration depends entirely on you. However, please allow at least 40 minutes, as the walking distance is 4.5 kilometers.

Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass es aufgrund der vielen angebotenen Führungen nicht möglich ist, eine Führung spontan nach hinten zu verschieben. Wenn sich eine Gruppe verspätet, so wird die Führungsdauer entsprechend gekürzt. Bei einer Verspätung von mehr als 20 Minuten behalten wir uns das Recht vor, die Führung kostenpflichtig entfallen zu lassen. Bei Einzelgästen einer Gruppenführung ist es uns leider nicht möglich, mit der ganzen Gruppe auf Sie zu warten oder die Führung später beginnen zu lassen.

Our tours are offered as standard in German and English. If interested, there is also the possibility to take the tour in French.

Touren können bis spätestens 48 Stunden vor Beginn der Tour kostenlos storniert werden. Die Stornierung muss schriftlich per E-Mail erfolgen. Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass bereits bezahlte Touren nicht rückerstattet werden.

Die Leica AG behält sich das Recht vor, Einschränkungen oder Stornierungen bereits gebuchter Führungen aus betrieblichen Gründen vorzunehmen. In diesem Fall wird Ihnen der Preis Ihrer Führung selbstverständlich zurückerstattet.

Unsere Führungen starten grundsätzlich am Treffpunkt vor dem Museum/Headquarter. Bitte seien Sie und Ihre Gruppe spätestens 5 min vor Beginn am Treffpunkt damit die Tour pünktlich starten kann.

Café Leitz – In dem modernen Pavillon im Herzen des Leitz-Parks empfängt Sie das Café-Team mit vielen Kaffeespezialitäten, Süßspeisen, Torten, Kuchen und Gerichten aus einer kleinen Mittagskarte – und bietet einen Platz zum Entspannen und Genießen. Das Café Leitz ist Dienstag bis Sonntag von 11.30 bis 17.30 Uhr geöffnet.

Restaurant – die Küche des Oskar's richtet sich regional, frisch und modern aus. Dazu gehört ein offenes Küchenkonzept mit Gerichten zum Teilen und Probieren. Das Restaurant hat von 17 bis 23 Uhr geöffnet. Einen Tisch können Sie hier reservieren.

Casino - Direkt im Herzen des Leitz-Parks lädt das Casino schon morgens zu einem frisch zubereiteten Frühstück ein. Aber auch mittags tischt das Casino feinste Leckerbissen auf: Besucher können zwischen täglich wechselnden Menüs und Gerichten wählen. Die Öffnungszeiten sind Mo. - Fr. von 7:30 - 10:00 Uhr, Frühstück und Mo. - Fr. von 11:45 - 13:30 Uhr, Mittagessen.

From Wetzlar train station (RE and RB), ZOB (Central Bus Station):

Take bus line 11 towards Gießen 'Johanneskirche.'

11 stops, get off at 'Am Leitz-Park.'

Approximate travel time: 15 minutes.

You can park your bike anywhere on the premises. However, we recommend that you lock/lock up your bike securely and properly, as we accept no liability in the event of theft or similar.

Our visitor parking lot is located behind the main Leica building and is open day and night.

You can obtain a map of the Leitz-Park at the museum, the store, or at the registration desk in the main building. Alternatively, you can download the Leitz-Park app and use the digital map.

Lockers and a cloakroom are located in the entrance area of the Ernst Leitz Museum. Please ask the staff at reception for help.

Toilets can be found in the Ernst Leitz Museum, the Leica Headquarters and Café Leitz.

If you would like to book an experience package for a fixed date, select the desired package here. To redeem a voucher for an experience package, please use our booking portal. Select the relevant package and click on the "Redeem voucher" button on the right-hand side. You will find the required voucher code on the back of your voucher.

To redeem the vouchers for the leica tour, the museum tour or the smartphone workshop, search here and use the "Register now" button. Please let us know in the email that you have a voucher and we will be happy to book the date for you. Please also bring the voucher with you to your appointment and hand it in at the reception desk of the Ernst Leitz Museum.

If you would like to purchase a voucher via our online store, select the relevant voucher and click on the "On request" button. Enter your details in the pop-up field and note your delivery and invoice address in the comments field. We will then send you the voucher together with the corresponding invoice, which you can pay by bank transfer within 8 days.
